Using custom name servers you can use your own domain instead of our ClouDNS.io default values. Let's see how you can configure your own private name servers and use it for your client's website.

1: Create Glue Record (Host Names)

Go to your domain provider's site and find the option for hostname or child name servers for the domain name.

Every domain provider will have their own system, yet what you have to do is find a hostname on your domain DNS setting area and assign an IP address to that hostname for each of the name servers.

A hostname on a domain is the third level name. For example of a host name is ns1, adding this to our WHM you have to enter ns1.yoursite.com to the IP address of the server where this account is located.

You can find the IP details under your Reseller Hosting Welcome Email.

2: Add A records to your DNS Zone

Once you completed the process of registering our 2 custom name servers with your domain registrar, you need to add such IP's to our DNS zone as well. They would be entered as A records into the DNS zone section, make sure you point same IP for A records with correct name servers value.

Ex- ns1 and ns2

3: DNS Propagation

Once you completed the above steps, you should wait at least 12-24 hours to be sure that your DNS changes completely applied and propagated over the Internet.

Yes, you can do it by the help of CloudLinux lsapi/LiteSpeed API, use the following:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-lsphp .htm .html .shtml

For other PHP Handlers, you can utilize the following:

Make a .htaccess file and transfer it to your public_html folder and add below lines:

RemoveHandler .html .htm AddType application/x-httpd .php .htm .html

Since these expansions will be prepared as PHP because of the above command, changing the permission on those file types to 755 might be required.

In case above command not working properly, you can use command as below:

AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php5 .php4 .php .php3 .php2 .phtml .html .htm

or

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php5 .php4 .php .php3 .php2 .phtml .html .htm

How to force redirect www or non-www with cPanel

It is recommended by Google that your site is just open through either www or without www (and NOT both). In that capacity, you should configure a redirect to push one or the other. We give comfort to doing this.

1. Sign in to cPanel

2. Go to 'Nginx Automation' area and select 'CLOUDNS'

3. Select the domain section and click on 'Configure'.

4. Now you will get an option 'Redirections' click on it.

5. Select the preferred choice from the 'www Redirect' dropdown

Click 'Submit'

Note: If you are working on WordPress, you should guarantee your correct domain (with or without www.) is added to the Settings - > General screen.

The web server directly gives basic error pages, however the Error Pages interface permits you to characterize custom error pages for any HTTP status code.

Customize an error page:

To edit an error page, following steps given below:

1. Login to your cPanel and under Advanced click on Error Pages. If more than one domain manages by this account.

2. Select the domain for which you wish to customize an error page from the Managing: menu.

3. Select the error status code for which you wish to customized its error page.

you don't see the error status code in that list, click the Show All HTTP Error Status Codes tab. At that point, click on the error status code.

4. Enter a message in the box.

To show data on the error page about the clients who got to your site, click the right buttons for data that you wish to show.

Enter additional HTML code to further edit your error pages.

5. Select Save.

Enabling Remote MySQL in the cPanel

Sign in to the Domain's cPanel interface and search for the section on the main page named Databases.

In the Databases section find the connection/button named Remote MySQL and click on it.

Under Add Access Host enter IP address or host address that you need to grant remote MySQL access to and afterward click the save button

If a host or IP address you want to delete from this list you can tap the 'Delete' button next to the entry in the list under Manage Access Hosts.

If you have made changes, additions or removal to the list you can return the primary page of the cPanel interface, or log out if you have no other work.
